TG Mall Book #4: Due Date by Courtney Captisa (#genderswap #fiction)

The TG Mall is a magical and wonderful place where dreams come true - even if those dreams often come as a surprise. For her fourth shopping excursion, Courtney Captisa introduces a few new wrinkles, but once again spins a lovely story of magical feminization.

TG Mall Book #4: Due Date open on a decidedly melancholy note, with Matt Simmons looking to memorialize the passing of his pregnant wife and their unborn baby. He is a sympathetic figure, a character who we not only like, but want to protect . . . embrace . . . and somehow heal. He only intends to pass the time while waiting for the pendant, but as each store calls to him, he finds himself being slowly transformed.

As is always the case with Courtney, the detail here is exquisite, making the reader feel as if they are in the nail salon, hair salon, or lingerie store themselves. On a vicarious level, it is a fun story, but deeper down it is a sentimental tale with some real meaning. The happily-ever-after here may come as a bit of a surprise, but the way it plays out is beautiful.
Courtney Captisa has had a strong interest in transformation since childhood. In her early teens, she discovered several webpages such as Fictionmania. She enjoys writing clean stories.
