Futa Pharaoh by Lyka Bloom (#futa #transformation #erotica)

Since I had so much fun with the idea last week, I am continuing with something a little different today, with a series of Lyka Bloom reviews scattered throughout the day. Happy Bloomday!

As it turns out, it was pure coincidence that Lyka Bloom and I were working on a futa-themed archaeological adventures at the same time. We did discuss the idea of doing a sort of soft crossover, but the stories just were not compatible in terms of tone. Where I went full-on pulp silliness with Futanari Moans and the Mummy's Hand (Job), Lyka stuck more to her dark, sinister brand of supernatural erotica . . . and oh what a joy that is!

Futa Pharaoh begins with a flashback to a unique temple in 2592 BC, where the gorgeous Nafrini reveals herself to be futa witch with the power to compel mere mortals. Her confrontation with Dedi is nicely played, but it is the justice meted out by Tala, complete with a supernatural imprisonment and erasure from the scrolls of history, that tops the scene.

Fast forward to present day, and Juliette Cross is performing some meticulous archaeological analysis of a stone tablet revealed by a freak sandstorm, while the prize discovery - an ancient sarcophagus stands nearby. That Narfini is awakened should come as no surprise, in a fabulous scene that bears the subtle touches of mind control and seduction that Lyka does so well. As for what happens after that, I will leave you to enjoy it on your own, but I will say there are a few erotic transformation along the way, and an epic climax that brings the story full circle.

This is a dark story, with selfish passions and supernatural drives on display, but it is also a great adventure with a story of heroism at its hear. The Futa Pharaoh may have been forgotten by history, but she will not be forgotten by readers.

Lyka Bloom lives and works in Tennessee as a technical writer. She has always enjoyed the exploration of fantasies, from the mundane to the kinky, generally revolving around hypnosis, mind control and transformation.
