#MoreThanVisibility - Trans Youth Support

This Thursday (March 31st) is the International Transgender Day of Visibility.

For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it's a day of empowerment and support for the trans community. It's a day for everyone to show their support for us, and for us to bring attention to our accomplishments around the globe. At the same time, it's a day of education.

This year's theme is #MoreThanVisibility, recognizing that while visibility is important, we must also take direct action against transphobia around the world. Visibility alone cannot end the violence and the hate, but we can use it as a vital tool for transgender justice.

Whether you are looking to educate or celebrate, express yourself or support someone else, today we are sharing some of our favorite stories for young trans people.

Almost Perfect by Brian Katcher
A beautiful, powerful, emotional read that offers an honest exploration of gender identity and expression, filtered through the eyes of an observer.

Angles and Curves by George Berger
An intriguing and very well-written story featuring a bisexual elf and an asexual trans human teen.

Cevin's Deadly Sin by Sally Bosco
Such a wonderful story, honest and open, about an adolescent cross-dresser who never questions his identity or his sexuality.

Love Spell by Mia Kerick
Fun, but with a a strong heart and a wonderful message, the story explores the romantic obsession of a gender-fluid teen.

Sinews of the Heart by Cody L. Stanford
In a war-torn future where fetish technology has run amok, a trans 'furry' longs for a gay human who loves another boy.
