Sissy Dreams: Being Kellie by Paul Zante

Please Note: The following review is suitable for adults only.

Sissy Dreams: Being Kellie incorporates three of the most common transgender fetishes. First, we have a young man who is aroused by the feel of women's clothes, and the accompanying fantasy of being a slut. Second, we have a young man with a fetish for the taste of sweaty heels and the smell of well-worn satin panties. Lastly, we have the fantasy of forced feminization, of being caught by a dominant woman and forced to live out that fantasy of being a slut.

Clearly, Paul Zante is intimately aware of the power of those fantasies, as he does a stunningly delightful job of describing the experience. He paints such a vivid picture of the outfits that it's all too easy to close your eyes and imagine yourself getting dressed. He also deals with the guilt and the shame that often follows an orgasm in panties, supporting the fantasy with a little embarassing honesty.

As part of his crossdressing fantasy, Robin imagined his roommate in the sexiest, sluttiest way imaginable, and then put himself into her place. Much to his horror, his fantasy wasn't far from the truth, and thanks to a webcam and the threat of blackmail, he's going to get his chance to live her life and put his wet, pink lipstick to work. Without spoliling the climax of the tale, I loved how the book came around full circle, making that opening fantasy a coping mechanism for living it.

Personally, I would have loved for Robin's night to last a little longer, and I do so hope there's a sequel in the making, but this was a hot, sexy read that's sure to please, no matter what form your transgender fantasies take. If you can't wait and want more, then give Sissy Erotica Collection Part Three a try.

Celebrity Sissy by Crystal Veeyant

Please Note: The following review is suitable for adults only.

Whether she’s dealing with a medieval fantasy world or the nightmares of celebrity culture, Crystal Veeyant knows not only how to capture a scene, but how to create realistic characters that leap off the page. He stories are (quite naturally) driven by the personalities of her characters, with the development of the story dependant upon the development of the characters – mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Celebrity Sissy is something of an erotic thriller, complete with some very real danger, drama, and consequences of celebrity excess. What begins as a game of domination and transformation for Shanu, the shemale nurse, and Cheri, her lesbian lover, soon turns into something more as Jamie’s innermost desires are revealed. A confrontation with a jilted lover forces Jamie to make amends for his past, and little cosmetic and pharmaceutical assistance completes his own development from sissy to shemale.

As usual, Crystal weaves a stunning tale of forced feminization, bisexual awakening, and sexual exploration. Her shemales are fantasies cum to life, and her sissies are the fantasies of our lives. She has a knack for making her characters come alive, adding an emotional element to the sensual eroticism that so few erotica authors can manage. Celebrity Sissy is as much about wish fulfillment as it is about being careful what you wish for, but there's a happy ending (and happy endings for all) to reward our indulgence.

My Name is Purple Princess by Jessie Ash

For the Last Time, My Name is Purple Princess is one of several serialized novels currently being produced by Jessie Ash, and it's a fantastic introduction to her style. It's a gender-bending superhero novel (with just a bit of an erotic edge) that plays with the conventions of the genre, but nicely twists and spins them into something new and original.

Ned is your average, geeky young man. He's not that great with the ladies, works in a comic book store, is more suited to games of a role playing nature than an athletic one, and in love with his beautiful roommate (who is, of course, completely oblivious to the fact). Oh, and he's being blackmailed into life as a purple-clad, buxom superheroine by a shadowy organization.

Ash plays the first volume largely for laughs, giving it a Greatest American Hero sort of take on the genre. Ned knows how to use his powers (transformation is pretty much instantaneous), but he does have a challenge in finding bathrooms where an overweight young man can safely walk in, and a statuesque woman in costume safely walk out. His main problem is that he has no clue how to be a hero, with his first few attempts ending up as embarrassing disasters.

With the second volume, Ash introduces a little backstory and the supervillain of her world. Here she introduces some very real dangers and super threats, and begins dealing with the vigilante aspect of the job. There are still some laughs, and the erotic aspect certainly comes more to the forefront as she explores the romantic repercussions of gender-bending.

On that note, I must say that while this is primarily superhero story, Ash does a fantastic job of exploring the gender bending aspect. The longer he plays at being Purple Princess, the more Ned finds her emotions sort of leaking through into his normal life. Acting like a woman comes naturally, a gift of the transformation that provides him with an instinctive control over his powers, but he's still an insecure young man beneath all the leather and spandex . . . and one who lusts after the woman he's become.

If you're at all excited by the idea of a lonely geek becoming a buxom superheroine - and you know you are! - then do yourself a favour and give this a read.

synthie recalibrated by Alina X

synthie recalibrated by Alina X is actually a collection of 3 short futanari tales, the first of which is a sequel to her sci-fi debut, synthie. Surprisingly, as much as I loved her debut, I found it's sequel to be the weakest part of the collection. It's still fascinating and fun, but it feels like 2 separate stories pasted together, without an easy flow between them. There's an attempt to weave a hard sci-fi tale into the futanari erotica, but it's not developed well enough to really work, or truly mesh with the rest of the story.

Having said that, the story does a very good job of exploring how Mike's is adjusting to his new life as synthie. We get right inside his head and discover how he feels about sex and gender, how he defines himself, and kind of role he sees himself playing in this new world.

The second story, Last Summer, is probably my favorite of the three. In it, a young lesbian 'borrows' an ancient wooden dildo from her museum's collection, takes it home, and gives into a strange, inexplicable desire to experiment. When she awakes from the most powerful, earth-shattering orgasm of her life, she finds that the wooden dildo has attached itself to her and become flesh-and-blood. The ways in which she deals with that, including the embarrassment of public erections is a lot of fun, but it's the seduction of a seemingly straight woman that puts it over the top.

The final story in the collection, The Princess and the Succubus, is a much darker tale, but one that's filled with imagination. In it we have a succubus and a sorceress, both captives of the same King, who put aside their inherent distrust to orchestrate a double-escape that involves stealing the King's power - the magical penis he stole from an incubus. Who steals it, who wears it, and where that leads I'll leave you to discover, but it's a well-written tale that has a medieval fairy tale feel to it.
